For our HiFi users, the FLAC catalogue of tracks won’t need any touches. But for our beloved Premium users, we’ll need to work a bit harder…
MP3‘s will need some work called re-encoding, so that we can remove the gaps from the tracks, one by one. It’s a tough task, so for our iOS users, we were able to develop a nice little tool to help. And that’s where we need you 
Under your app settings, and in Deezer Labs, there’s now a button to toggle the tool for MP3 tracks. This tool will apply gapless on MP3, without us having to re-encode the track:

This is a work-in-progress one, so please be kind – give it a go and let us know how it works. We know it won’t be perfect but without your feedback, it’s harder to get there
