Deezer Strengthens Sonos Partnership with Launch of Sonos Voice Control and New App Interface

Paris, June 8, 2022 – Deezer is expanding its partnership with Sonos, as two major updates are delivered in June ​​– Sonos Voice Control, compatible with Deezer at launch, and a brand new Deezer interface on the Sonos App. With Sonos Voice Control, Sonos users will be able to stream their favorite music from Deezer effortlessly, using only their voice. The updated Deezer interface includes improved user experience, with access to Deezer exclusive recommendation feature Flow.

Deezer’s product teams cooperate closely with partners to continuously deliver product excellence and create best in class solutions for users. Sonos Voice Control is the latest launch from Sonos, developed in collaboration with Deezer to ensure seamless compatibility. It works on every voice-capable Sonos speaker, processing requests entirely on the device. No audio or transcript is sent to the cloud, stored, listened to or read by anyone, guaranteeing the privacy of the users.

The revamped Deezer interface on the Sonos app will benefit listeners in multiple ways, including a more personalized listening experience with access to Flow, the Deezer exclusive feature providing recommendations uniquely matched to the listener’s taste and preferences. 

Sonos Voice Control is now available to Deezer users on Sonos in the US and will be available in France later this year.  The new Deezer experience with Flow included is available on the Sonos app globally from June 1.
