Fans enjoyed 8 songs from the French rapper Gazo, performed live in central Paris, and livestreamed on Deezer, as well as on a big screen at the iconic Place le Vieux Port in Marseille.
Deezer hosted an exclusive livestream with French rapper Gazo on Thursday, June 30th, the day before the release of his much anticipated album KMT, in partnership with Epic (Sony Music France). The event had been revealed the same week, after two pyramids mysteriously appeared in central Paris and Marseille, with a QR code leading to a landing page announcing the livestream. Fans were told to tune in to the app at 21:00 on the day of the livestream.
Gazo exclusively performed new, and never before heard songs from his upcoming album. Hundreds of fans joined both at the concert in Paris and the big screen in Marseille, as thousands of people tuned in to watch the livestream in the app.
“Deezer is the home of music, and with events like these we connect artists and fans through an exclusive experience on our platform,” said Nigel Harding, VP Artist Relations, “Gazo delivered a fantastic show and it was a great example of how we can work together to deliver value to fans wherever they may be.”
