Drivers across the world can now enjoy their favorite playlists and a never-ending Flow mix with Deezer’s new automotive app while cruising the highways

Paris, July 19th, 2023: Deezer, the global music streaming platform, is introducing another key upgrade, with the launch of its new automotive app. The app will be available in cars with Google built-in and cars with the automotive app store Faurecia Aptoide. Launching dedicated solutions for automotive companies aligns with Deezer’s ambition to continue bringing innovation and enable successful partnerships across multiple industries. The introduction of the new solution also follows a growing demand for dedicated car apps with features and functionalities matching the experience of using a smartphone.

“Music has the power to enhance any situation, and listening to your top songs in the car is essential to people all over the world. It’s our pleasure to introduce our new automotive app, giving drivers seamless access to their favorite music on Deezer,” said Nicolas Pinoteau, VP Product & Engineering, Deezer. “With this launch, we’re excited to get on the road with some of the world’s finest car manufacturers.”

“We are thrilled that our customers can enjoy the popular music streaming application Deezer now. This new experience is completing a catalog of compelling applications available via the new multimedia interface openR link embedded in Renault Megane E-Tech electric, Austral and All-new Espace,” said Jean-François Labal, Digital Partnership Head, Renault Group.

Packed with cutting-edge features, Deezer’s automotive app will help drivers and passengers set the soundtrack to everyday drives and long road trips. Premium users can now enjoy their own playlists or a never-ending personalized AI-generated Flow of recommendations directly through the car and without using their phones.

Users can keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel with voice control to quickly tune into the right playlist. The app’s intuitive design also makes it a breeze to navigate your music, and provides access to an extensive catalog of more than 120 million songs that makes even the longest car journeys a joy.

Deezer’s automotive app is compatible with cars with Google built-in, which offers a user-friendly platform for in-car infotainment, including navigation, communication, and more. It is available in vehicles such as the latest Renault models, and BMW cars thanks to the leading automotive app store Faurecia Aptoide.
