Deezer boosts festival season in France with exclusive experiences this summer

In 2024, Deezer is the music streaming platform with the strongest commitment to music festivals in France, offering robust support to its partners and a clear dedication to live music experiences.

Paris, 25th April 2024:  From We Love Green to Garorock, via the Eurockéennes, Vieilles Charrues, Rock en Seine, Rose Festival, Delta Festival and Golden Coast: Deezer, one of the world’s leading music experiences platforms, once again confirms a genuine commitment to its home market with renewed and strengthened support to the summer music festivals in France, in 2024.

“Deezer is proud to support festivals in France. We strongly feel that festivals are social and cultural experiences in their own right, uniting fans through live music experiences and creating a sense of belonging. For years, we have been committed to offering festival-goers unique and immersive experiences, connecting them in new ways with their favorite artists and with other fans. We’re excited to be back this summer season to create even more unforgettable shared moments,” says Maria Garrido, CMO, Deezer

In 2024, French festival participants will be able to access two unique and immersive music experiences curated by Deezer. The award winning Giant Karaoke (“World’s Best FanXP” in 2023), which Deezer curates at 90% of all the live shows at Paris La Defense Arena, became an essential part of the French festival experience last summer and will return in 2024. The live version of Deezer’s collaborative “Shaker” feature will also make a comeback to enable people to “live the music”. It includes a one-of-a-kind experience where a collaborative playlist is turned into a mini-festival with an exclusive dance floor and customized merch for a small group of friends.

“Live the Music”: experience is at the heart of Deezer’s strategy

Deezer’s rebranding in November 2023 marked the start of a new era, focused on connecting fans with artists and creating ways for people to Live the Music, through immersive experiences. Deezer’s Purple Door is a rare live music and party series, where fans experience their favorite artists in an intimate and exclusive setting. Deezer also amplifies the live experience of up to  43,000 people at Paris La Défense Arena on a regular basis, with giant pre-concert karaoke, after-parties and unique fan activations. In addition, Deezer organizes Deezer Sessions Live, exclusive concerts where a smaller crowd of fans and superfans get to experience their favorite artists.
