Deezer Rooftop Sessions: Icon Fatboy Slim performed an exclusive gig at Centre Pompidou in Paris

Deezer provided fans with an exceptional opportunity to witness Fatboy Slim’s legendary talents in a unique setting.

Paris, June 10 2024: Deezer, the global experiences platform, is proud to announce that legendary DJ and producer Fatboy Slim performed an exclusive Deezer Rooftop Sessions to mark the 500th release of his label, Southern Fried Records. The exclusive performance took place for 150 invited fans and guests at the iconic Centre Pompidou in Paris last Friday, on June 7th. The Centre Pompidou, one of the world’s most renowned modern art museums, provided a stunning backdrop for Fatboy Slim’s high-energy set. 

For this special Deezer Rooftop Session, Fatboy Slim performed a DJ Set drawing from his extensive catalog of dancefloor anthems, including “Role Model” and “The Rockafeller Skank”. 

The set was recorded live for release exclusively on Deezer’s Global YouTube channel on June 21st 2024.

Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, has been a trailblazer in the big beat and electronic dance genres for over two decades. His 1998 album ‘You’ve Come A Long Way Baby’ was a massive crossover success, bringing hits like ‘The Rockafeller Skank’ and ‘Praise You’ to the mainstream.
