Deezer Launches “Dream Astro” Playlist with ESA Astronaut Sophie Adenot for εpsilon Mission
Sophie Adenot, the second French woman in history to travel to space, is using Deezer to share the music that will accompany her throughout the mission on ISS.
Paris, February 13, 2026 – Deezer, the global music experiences platform, is proudly collaborating with European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Sophie Adenot for the launch of her personal playlist “Dream Astro”, as she embarks on her εpsilon mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
The Soundtrack of a Space Adventure
During the eight to nine month journey, music will be a part of Adenot’s daily routine in space. “Dream Astro” will be updated regularly throughout the εpsilon mission, creating a unique connection between earth and low Earth orbit.
The playlist will ultimately feature 200 tracks personally selected by Adenot, launching with 40 songs and expanding over time with new additions. The diverse selection highlights French-speaking artists including Christophe Maé, Aya Nakamura, Helena, Florent Pagny, Linh Suzane, Louise Attaque, Charlotte Cardin, Youssou N’Dour, and David Guetta, alongside international artists such as Taylor Swift, Lola Young, Imagine Dragons, Shakira, Coldplay, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Commenting on this highly personal selection, Sophie Adenot said: “Each crew member was invited to select three songs to listen to on the journey to the launch pad. I chose Happy for a very simple reason: it perfectly reflects my philosophy of life. I’m Good (Blue) brings an incredible sense of positive energy and feels especially fitting for that unique moment — a nighttime drive at around three in the morning. And finally, Valhalla Calling, performed by one of my favorite bands, is a version that still gives me chills. It’s the song I listened to at the start of every extravehicular activity training session. For me, it truly represents a call to adventure.”
This is not the first time an astronaut has shared music from space on Deezer. In 2021, Thomas Pesquet created the playlist “Space Vibes,” updating it daily from the ISS to share his musical favorites and emotions with listeners on Earth. The playlist featured artists such as Clara Luciani, Jain, Morcheeba, and Jungle.
About Sophie Adenot
Sophie Adenot is an ESA astronaut and French engineer. A graduate of ISAE-SUPAERO and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), she was the first French female helicopter test pilot and has logged more than 3,000 flight hours with the French Air and Space force and the French Defence Procurement Agency. In November 2022, she was selected as a career astronaut by the ESA from more than 22,500 applicants.
Throughout the εpsilon mission, she will conduct scientific experiments aboard the ISS, test new technologies, and contribute to advancing space research.
